 3rd Annual Skeet Shoot
Sporting Clays Competition
October 1, 2010, 10 am - 4 pm
Covey Rise Lodge, Husser, LA
The club will hold its third annual sporting clays competition on October 1. In last year's competition, four-person teams competed for first and second-place team trophies, won by teams from Jefferson Sprinkler, Inc. John Vise won the pre-event warm-up competition. A barbecue and jambalaya dinner was served during the event. The silver-plated CZ-USA Over-and-Under 12 Gauge Shotgun raffle was won by Eleanor Cumbow.
Charities benefiting from the event were the juvenile drug court sponsored by Slidell City Court, camp for obese kids sponsored by Slidell Memorial Hospital, cop camp sponsored by the Slidell Police Department, and the teenage suicide prevention program sponsored by St. Tammany Outreach to Prevent Suicide (STOPS).
